It's normal for a baby boy's foreskin not to pull back (retract) for the first few years of life.
For your circumcision, you need a highly trained and experienced doctor.
Circumcisions are most commonly performed before a baby is one month old, under local anaesthetic.

Healing goes in stages. But the first rule of thumb is this: every baby heals on his own clock. In general, however, this is how things typically go:
In the first week, one can anticipate swelling and slight discoloration of the glans. After a week, the swelling is gone and things begin to look "normal". However, it still takes a couple more weeks for the skin to grow in completely. While the aftercare only lasts up to 3 days, the full healing process usually takes about a month.
While the nerve endings of all newborns are underdeveloped, they do feel the discomfort of the circumcision. We use Local Anaesthetic.
